794,741. Two-part couplings; strain-taking devices for flexible leads. WILCO PRODUCTS PROPRIETARY, Ltd. May 1, 1956 [June 14, 1955], No. 17089/55. Class 38 (1). In a plug consisting of a tubular casing 1 enclosing a pin-contact-carrying member 2, the cable 14 passes through a rubber tube 17, the inner end of which is enclosed in a rearwardlyextending, tubular boss 11 on the casing and is adapted to be contracted on to the cable, so as to grip the same, by a clamping member 15 which screws into the boss 11 and bears on a ring 22 having a tapered surface 21 which cooperates with a tapered surface 20 on the tube 17.
