Class 52(5) [Also in Group XXXVI] A bracket for securing a pipe, electric cable &c. to a support surface comprises a rigid base 7 having a hole therein for a securing nail or screw 18, a pair of spaced side walls 8 projecting from one side of the base and two or more feet 9 projecting from the other side. The base may be suitably shaped to accommodate one or more pipes or cables 19. After securing the bracket to a support 17 and positioning the pipes or cables, the side walls are bent over to secure the pipes or cables either by hammering or by means of a plier-like tool.
