Abstract
793,188. Electric transformers. ROLLSROYCE, Ltd. Aug. 31, 1955 [Sept. 16, 1954], No. 26931/54. Class 38 (2). [Also in Group XXXVI] Fig. 5 shows a split toroidal pick-up coil assembly 17 forming the secondary of a current transformer which surrounds as primary a current carrying member 12 of a welding- machine (Fig. 4, not shown). An even number of solenoid coils 18 are spaced tangentially of the toroidal circumference and are alternately connected in series in two distinct circuits, which are connected to separate inputs of an electronic measuring circuit (Fig. 3, not shown) displaying the integrated value of the successive cycles of welding current.
