In a record changer centre post having a first means P to restrain horizontal movement of all but the lowermost record C of records stacked on a step 11 on the centre post, and a second means L for unseating said lowermost record, a third means 63 is associated with said first means P to restrain horizontal movement of said lowermost record to prevent premature unseating, and a fourth means 47 on said second means L to urge said third means 63 out of the recordretaining position of said lowermost record during an unseating operation.
