Abstract
791,275. Viewers for radiography. BOURNE, A. T. Sept. 6, 1955 [Sept. 10, 1954], No. 26295/54. Class 98(2) A viewer for radiographs comprises a movable panel supporting the radiograph and a fixed mask illuminated from behind and having a fixed aperture, so any part of the radiograph of the size of the aperture may be viewed. As shown, the radiograph is held in contact with a clear glass panel B mounted on a frame A by clips C. Frame A slides horizontally on a frame J by means of carriages D, while the frame J is itself slidable 'vertically in guides E on a housing I. An apertured mask F, backed by an opal glass sheet, is mounted in the housing behind the panel B and is illuminated by lamps mounted in housing I.
