790,680. Broom supports. JOUBERT, F. N. June 20, 1956 [June 24, 1955], No. 19029/56. Classes 19 and 61. Support means for a long-handled broom comprise at least one leg 3, 12, 13, pivotally mounted at 6 and 14 on the broom so that it can be swung around from a normal inoperative position to an operative position in which it engages the floor on which the broom is to be supported. The broom may be supported on the floor by the leg 3 and the bristles or clear of the floor by one or both of the legs 12, 13 and the handle, which rests against a wall, or clear of the floor by all three legs 3, 12, 13.
