788,627. Prompting devices. TELEPROMPTER CORPORATION. Dec. 28, 1955 [June 8, 1955], No. 37110/55. Class 132(1) [Also in Group XX] Apparatus for the visual presentation of written information to a speaker without obstructing his line of vision comprises a cueing device carrying the information in a liinited vertical area and a plane mirror inclined at 45 degrees to the said area to reflect light therefrom vertically to a partially transparent plane mirror supported by a stand. As shown the device comprising a housing 2 containing the cueing device 4 such as described in Specification 710,385 [Group XVIII] which presents the appropriate reading matter at an aperture 6 light from which is reflected by a mirror 22 to the partially transparent mirror 28, supported on a telescopic stand 24, to be visible to the speaker.
