Abstract

788,210. Stoppers. HASHIMOTO, S. Feb. 13, 1956 [Feb. 14, 1955], No. 4423/56. Class 125(3). A crown closure assembly comprises in combination a metal fluted crown closure and a hood of aluminium polyethylene or like material with a disc part 2 and skirt 1 which is deformed to fill the space between the crown and the bottle neck. The hood may have a flange 4 to engage with the lower edge of the crown closure and the disc part 2 may have an enlarged central portion 5 to enter the bottle mouth.
