Abstract
788,178. Toothbrush containers. TUCKER, P. Feb. 3, 1956 [March 17, 1955], No. 7798/55. Class 18. [Also in Groups XIII and XIV] A toothbrush container 10 has means 14 for fitting the toothbrush 15 in position,. and a non- deliquescent dehydrating agent, e.g., silica gel contained in a perforated casing 12 adjacent the bristles. The casing 12 is screwed into the closed top of the container, the bottom being closed by a removable base 11 with recesses to receive the handle end of the brush, toothpicks 19, and the capped end of a tube 17 of toothpaste. The dehydrating agent may be mixed with a antiseptic or bactericidal agent, e.g., thymol. In a modification the container comprises a shallow box with recesses to accommodate the toothbrush, casing 12, tube 17 and toothpicks. The lid of the box may be fitted with a mirror, and the base may have additional recesses for a powder compact, nail varnish, lipstick and nail file.
