Abstract

788,108. Dispensing liquids by gaseous pressure. WARD, L. T. Nov. 30, 1954 [Aug. 16, 1954], No. 34716/54. Class 102(2).. In apparatus for dispensing liquids, the liquid and a propellant liquid are contained in a flexible container 10 within a rigid container 11. The rigid container 11 has a rolled-over lip 13 to which the lip of the container 10 is clamped by a cover 14 carrying a dip tube 18 and discharge valve 15. Alternatively, the flexible container may be attached to the cover 14. To prevent trapping of air between the containers 10, 11, the container 11 has holes 12 which may be fitted with removable plugs.
