Abstract

Fabrics of secondary cellulose acetate or cellulose triacetate are dyed or printed by padding or printing with a liquor or paste containing one or more dyestuffs, drying and then applying a dry heat treatment, e.g. with hot air or radiant heat, at 170-210 DEG C. for 30-35 seconds. Examples are given.
