Class 43 A wrist-watch bracelet comprises a bandlike sheath 2, 3 provided in its outer surface 3 with a pair of slots 4 extending transversely of the sheath one on each side of the wrist-watch region and with a central longitudinal slit extending between the slots 4 so as to form a pair of elongated flaps, at least one leaf sprin 1 suitably curved to embrace and grip the wrist being inserted into the sheath 2, 3 through the slots 4 when the flaps are in an open position and the flaps then being closed down to conceal this spring 1, there being further provided a pair of spring arms 6 suitably curved to embrace and grip the wrist and each having one of its ends inserted into the sheath 2, 3 through one of the slots 4, the projecting ends of the arms 6 having fasteners 7 to engage lateral fastening means 9 on the watch 10 and being covered with a suitable material 8. In the embodiment shown in Figs. 1 to 3 the fasteners on the ends of the spring arms 6 are formed by hook-shaped end portions 7. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 7. The fasteners are cord loops 18 attached to the spring-arms 16 by lateral flaps 17 bent round the cord ends and holding the same in position by prongs, the fastening ends of the arms 16 are covered with leather or plastic 21. Fig. 11 shows the spring-arms 22 as hair-pin shaped with the fastening portion suitably covered with leather or plastic 23. The fastener shown in Fig. 13 comprises a spring-ring 27 held in an eye 26a formed at the end of the spring-arm 25. In a further modification, Fig. 15. the fastener is formed by cord-loops 31 held in position on the spring-arms 29 by lateral folded down flaps which form an eye in which the ends 32 of loops 31 are secured in position by inserting them through the eye and then folding them back. The leaf-spring 33, Figs. 20 and 21, and/or the spring-arms may be tapered in width at 43 or thickness at 44, to alter the elasticity at the ends of the spring members. Alternatively the temper of the springs may be reduced towards their ends.
