780,731. Punching. REDMAN TOOLS & PRODUCTS, Ltd., and REDMAN, A. M. April 18, 1955 [Jan. 17, 1954], No. 35214/53. Addition to 647,163. Class 83 (4). A punching-tool has a C-shaped frame 11 adapted to be secured to the bed-plate of a press, a die 15 mounted in the lower arm 12 of the frame, a cylindrical boss 16 at the end of the upper arm 13 of the frame, a sleeve-like stripper 24 slidably mounted in the boss, a punch 19 slidably located in the stripper 24 and in a cover-plate 22 secured to the-upper end of the boss 16 and a stripper spring 25 interposed between the stripper 24 and a shoulder 21 on the punch. A weaker spring 29 serves to raise the punch 19 and the stripper 24. An adjustable work-stop 33 is secured to the frame.
