Abstract

A silver-base solder alloy having a low melting point, narrow melting range and good flow characteristics has a composition within the following range: Cu 25-35 per cent; Zn 10-20 per cent; Mn 10-17 per cent; Ag, at least 40 per cent, the balance. The alloy may also contain up to 0.01 per cent of deoxidizers such as P, Li, Si and Al.
