Abstract

778,273. Holders for thermionic valves. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. Sept. 13, 1955 [Sept. 14, 1954], No. 26139/55. Class 38 (1). A valve holder 1 is attached to a panel 3' and its contacts 2 electrically connected to a printed circuit below the panel, by passing its contact lugs 5 through soldering holes 3<SP>1</SP> and dip-soldering to the wiring. The lugs 5 are shaped at 4<SP>1</SP> to take up tolerances in the valve pins; and retained by an insulating disc 6 which is riveted to the body by the earth shielding pin 7.
