Abstract

777,157. Mattress &c. covers. BAYNELL, Ltd., and NELL, W. B. Dec. 15, 1955 [Jan. 28, 1955], No. 2574/55. Class 52 (4). In a mattress &c. cover closed by a sliding clasp fastener 6, a part 9 of the side wall of the cover is overlapped with the remainder of the side wall to form a tunnel 11 which accommodates and conceals the slider 7 when closed. The slider may have a thong 12 which can be threaded through an eyelet 13 in the part 9 to allow the slider to be pulled into the tunnel, the thong then being tucked into the tunnel. Alternatively, the slider can be merely pushed into the tunnel.
