Abstract

774,631. Machines with permanent magnets. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. June 10, 1955 [June 14, 1954], No. 16752/55. Class 35. A cycle dynamo has stator core pole-pieces 3 formed of springy laminations which are initially bent outwardly at their middle so that, when the stator core is introduced into the housing, the said laminations press against the housing inner surface. Such arrangement enables the stator assembly (shown in Fig. 2 in the withdrawn position) to be easily mounted within the housing by pushing it into the latter.
