[Also in Group XI] The doors of an oven are linked to a common pivot member guided for longitudinal movement so that they open or close simultaneously. Doors 232, 234 are connected by links 262, 266 to a sleeve 258 sliding on a rod 254 mounted beneath the oven. Leaf-springs 268 at the back of the guide-rod engage a button 270 on the sleeve to hold the closed doors against sealing gaskets. An additional link 272 is bent upwardly at the front to engage a shelf 244 and move it forwardly as the oven doors open.
