[Also in Group XXVI] The delivery passage of a centrifugal pump is formed during the moulding of the plastics casing by means of a removable core. The main part 10 of the pump casing is moulded from plastics material, the delivery passage being formed by a core 14 which is carried by a member 13 pivoted about the centre 12 of curvature of the arcuate centre line 11 of the delivery passage so that the core 14 can be swung out after the moulding operation.
