Abstract

772,450. Electric incandescent lamps. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. April 26, 1955 [May 20, 1954], No. 14835/54. Class 39(2) Electric incandescent lamps, more particularly decorative lamps intended for series connection have the outer ends of the sealed leading-in wires 3 extended through two holes 5 in an insulatmg cap 4 which is secured to the bulb, e.g. by cement, and has an integral rib 6 on its outer face. between the holes 5, to separate the ends of the leading-in wires, and insulating shroud member 8 which is a push fit on the cap 4 being apertured at 9 for the passage of a pair of supply wires 7 which are connected to the leading-in wires 3 within the shroud, e.g. by merely twisting the ends together or by soldering.
