Abstract
771,032. Dust-laying compositions for mines. CHEMISCHE FABRIK KALK GES. June 8, 1955 [July 1, 1954], No. 16541/55. Class 85. A dust-absorbing paste for spreading over the surfaces of mine-workings comprises at least one hygroscopic salt, an organic water soluble surface active agent which is compatible with the hygroscopic salt, an inorganic substance of gel-like consistency as a carrier for said hygroscopic salt and surface active agent, the latter two constituents each being present in a quantity less than that of the hygroscopic salt, and a quantity of water sufficient to impart a pasty consistency to the composition. The formulae of various preferred pastes are given.
