768,503. Electric control systems. GARRETT CORPORATION. April 7, 1955, No. 10327/55. Class 40 (1). [Also in Group XIX] A balanced beam 40 in a force or pressure ratio measuring instrument (see Group XIX) is restored to a null position by movement of its adjustable fulcrum under the control of an electric motor 53, either of the two windings 145, 146 of the motor being energized from battery 160 on de-energization of relay 156, 155 respectively. The relays 156, 155 are normally operated by a battery 150 through resistors 151, 154 but are de-energized by the making of a low resistance circuit to earth when the beam contact 71 engages one or other of the fixed contacts 72, 73.
