768,368. Portable containers. MAUSER, A. July 20, 1954 [March 25, 1954], No. 21106/54. Classes 66 and 125(3). A portable container is made by winding separate layers of paper 2, Fig. 1, over a thinwalled self-supporting inner shell 1 of metal or plastic material, the length of the outer shell 2 being less than that of the inner shell 1 so that the projecting edge 10, Fig. 3, of the inner shell 1 is sufficient for a folded connection with the bottom 9 and preferably also with the top end closure. The upper end of the inner shell 1, in Fig. 1, is rolled over the end of the outer shell 2 to form a seating for a closure 11 and closure ring 12.
