Abstract

764,456. Spray-producers. ROBERTS, Ltd., J. W. (Hertel & Co., N. V.). Jan. 25, 1955, No. 2233/55. Class 69 (3). A suspension in air of asbestos fibre flows through a tube 1 provided with a handle 2, and spray devices 5 in the form of a ring spray liquid into the suspension. Each device 5 comprises a cylindrical chamber 12 fed with liquid via passages 10, 11 and an annular chamber 7, and supplied with compressed air via a passage 14, a constriction 15 and an annular chamber 8. The air picks off liquid as it flows along an adjustable needle 13 and carries it as a fine fog through an outlet 16. The liquid and air are supplied from pipes 17 and 18 respectively, and the flow therethrough is controlled by valves operated by a lever 3.
