The invention comprises diethylamino ethyltheobromine bromethylate and its preparation by quaternization of diethylamino ethyl-theobromine with ethyl bromide. An example is given. Starting material. Diethylamino ethyl-theobromine is obtained by heating chlorethyl-theobromine with diethylamine.
