Abstract
757,553. Shuttering cones for moulding apertures. LONBLAD, V. M. April 15, 1954, No. 11220/54. Class 20(2). [Also in Group V] A case for forming an aperture in concrete comprises a central part 1, Fig. 1, or 12, Fig. 2, and a resilient peripheral part 9, Fig. 1, or 14, Fig. 2, which forms a groove in the concrete which assists in retaining a hook &c. subsequently grouted into the aperture. The part 1, Fig. 1, is a hollow metal body secured to shuttering 2 by a bolt 7 and the part 9 is a ring of soft rubber. In Fig. 2 a wooden core 12 is wrapped in a leather strip 13 having a narrow extension which forms the part 14.
