Abstract

757,366. Terminal boards. CHAMBERLAIN & HOOKHAM, Ltd., and DEACON, L. O. March 2, 1955 [March 8, 1954], No. 6651/54. Class 38 (1). [Also in Group XXXVII] In a terminal board wherein a number of terminal blocks 5 are mounted on an insulating base 4 and adapted to be interconnected by a cross-bar 9 and captive screws 11, the crossbar is supported on insulating distance-pieces 8 located over holes 7 in the blocks 5 with which screws 11 co-operate. Each screw 11 has a limited amount of free axial movement when disengaged from the respective block 5 and is urged to its uppermost position by a spring 12 so that the projecting head of the screw serves to indicate that the screw is disconnected.
