[Also in Group X] An angle key 18 of the type which is adapted to be fitted into, and expanded within, corresponding undercut grooves 7 formed in the flanges 3 of door, or window, frame members 1, 2 to join them together, is characterized in that plates 19, 20 are provided on the key to project through slots 17 in the bevelled ends of the members 1, 2 and constitute a hinge bracket for the casement, or door, frame. In an alternative arrangement, Fig. 16, the plates 37, 38 of the angle key 46 have offset shoulders 42, the flanges 3 of the frame members being embraced between the shoulders 42 and the key when the members 1, 2 are assembled.
