To improve the strength of fuel briquettes, 1 per cent or less of a very finely powdered material, less than 30 microns, is added to the mixture. The powder may be made from the material to be briquetted. In an example, 0À5 to 1À0 per cent of a powder up to 10 microns particle size, is used.
