Abstract

752,957. Thread tensioning means. BARMER MASCHINENFABRIK AKT.-GES. May 24, 1954 [May 23, 1953], No. 15282/54. Class 120(2). In grid-like thread tensioning means, having interchangeable thread tensioning bars, the bars are individually clamped so that they can be rotated and displaced longitudinally between fixed abutments and elastic fillets made of rubber, cork or similar material. As shown, the thread tensioning bars 5 and 6 are carried in holders 3 and 4, the holder 4 being articulated to the holder 3 which is fixed to a support 1. The holder 4 also carries thread guiding bars 7 and 8. All the bars 5, 6, 7 and 8 are clamped by elastic fillets 11, 12 and 13 embedded in stirrups or U-shaped channels 3a, 4a and 4b, the arrangement being such that the bars are pushed through holes in the sides of the channels and are clamped by the fillets.
