Abstract
A centrifugal-casting mould is made of an alloy steel consisting of: C 0,05-0,15 per cent, Mn 0,3-0,6 per cent, Si 1-1,5 per cent, Cr 1,7-2,6 per cent, Mo 0,2-0,5 per cent, V-0,2-0,5 per cent, Fe with the usual P and S percentages, the remainder. Up to 1 per cent in total of one or more of Ti, W, Ta, Nb may be included in the steel.
