Abstract

744,341. Crop sprayers. FOUR OAKS SPRAYING MACHINE CO., Ltd. Jan. 21, 1955 [Oct. 22, 1953], No. 29154/53. Class 69 (3). A chassis 1 supported by a pair of central wheels 2 and a trailing wheel 3 carries fore and aft tanks 5 and 6, containing spray liquid, which are connected by lines 10 and 12, Fig. 3, to the input side of a pump 8, so that the contents of both tanks are pumped simultaneously through pipes 13, 11, 14 and 16 to a spraying boom 18 or a spray lance. The pump and its driving motor 7 are mounted between the tanks, and the motor may also drive the chassis through belts 19, 20 and pulleys 21, 22. Excess liquid is returned to the tanks via pipes 29. A handle 4 is provided.
