Abstract

Perishable goods such as poultry which are to be stored in a "deep-freeze" chamber are placed in bags which are then gripped by hand on an evacuating nozzle, temporarily sealed, removed from the nozzle and finally sealed. The goods may be arranged on a vertically movable table, which raises them up to the nozzle. The table may be rotatable.
