[Also in Group XVIII] A carton has a self-erecting stand consisting of a card divided by creases into parts 4, 5, 6, the part 4 being secured to its base and having notches 10 for a rubber band &c. The band engages similar notches 9 in the part 6 so that the stand may be held flat by an adjacent carton. when a number are packed for transport, but automatically erects when pressure is released.
