Abstract
737,825. Mounting electric motors. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and PAGE, B. H. June 15, 1954 [June 19, 1953], No. 17056/53. Class 35. A motor for a hair dryer has its laminated stator 2 supported within a tubular housing 1 made of insulating material by rubber or rubberlike U-shaped members 7 spaced around the periphery and having parts 8 adapted to engage keyways 9 in the inside of the housing. The free limbs of the supporting members 7 are embraced by metallic shoes 10. The stator laminations are riveted to a steel end-plate 3 having lugs 5 which locate screws 6 for holding together the frame, the yoke 2 and the supports 7.
