Abstract
The anode of a primary cell (see Group XXXVI) is formed of an alloy consisting of 0.1-0.7 per cent Zn, 0.05-0.5 per cent Ca, the balance commercial Mg containing not more than 0.1 per cent Mn, not more than 0.005 per cent Fe and not more than 0.002 per cent Ni. The following may be included in the alloy: Al 0.75-1.5 per cent, Be 0.0005-0.005 per cent, Zr 0.001-0.1 per cent. Specification 659,367, [Group XXXVI], is referred to.
