Abstract
734,515. Dividing; rolling. SIEMAG VERTRIEBSGES. June 27, 1952 [June 28, 1961], No. 16191/52. Class 83 (4). A length of wire or thin rod from a rolling mill is fed past cropping and dividing 'shears A, the first part I of the length is guided by switch means C into a channel a and the succeeding sheared rear part I<SP>1</SP> of this length is guided to a parallel channel b. A further length of wire or thin rod is fed past cropping and dividing shears B and the first part II thereof is directed by the switch C into the channel a, the rear part I<SP>1</SP> of the preceding length still passing through the switch into the channel b, and the rear part of the second length is directed into the channel b. The switch C includes, Fig. 5, two guiding elements R, L which can be raised and lowered independently of one another.
