Abstract

In a process of moulding articles of spongy or cellular rubber the mould used has over the whole of its internal surface grooves that allow the escape of gases to the atmosphere. The grooves may be single or crossed and may be connected directly or through holes with channels provided on the contacting surfaces of the elements constituting the mould.
