Abstract

732,191. Vehicle bodies. HUNTER, T. June 4, 1954 [June 4, 1953], No. 15478/53. Class 108 (1). The outer skin of a vehicle body comprises corner-pieces 18 secured to side-walls 16 covered by a separate roof comprising cant rails 1, 5 of the shape shown and corners 13 which fit over the side wall and corner-pieces. The upper edges of the cant rails receive members 7, 8 to which the roof panelling 10 is secured. When the vehicle has an inner skin (Fig. 2) it comprises side walls 17 and corner-pieces 19 to which are attached cant rails 14, corners 13 and roof panel 10.
