Abstract
732,026. Packaging. ALGIDA INDUSTRIA ALIMENTI GELATI SOC. AR.L. Sept. 10, 1953 [Sept. 13, 1952], No. 25090/53. Class 94 (1). A frozen comestible 22 with or without a handle 23 is completely covered by an envelope 11 having an approximately central transverse strip portion 16 on each face formed by parallel rows of perforations 17, 18 extending substantially across the face of the envelope and provided with tab portion 19, 21 at one or both ends of each strip by means of which the strip may be torn out, and the portion 15 of the envelope removed, leaving the portion 14 for convenient handling of the comestible. The end edges 24 of the envelope may be sealed by heat and pressure to the handle 23 or the edges 24 may be twisted round the handle.
