731,885. Washers; locking nuts. WILSON, E. A. May 21, 1954 [June 6, 1953], No. 15669/53. Class 89(2). A locking washer is made from cotton, fibre, leather or other yieldable material and has both sides coated with an abrasive powder, e.g. emery-powder, secured by a non-water-soluble adhesive. The washer may be impregnated with paraffin wax or coated with grease to render it impervious to water.
