Abstract
729,904. Anti-skid chains. FABREGUE, G. V. Dec. 14, 1953 [July 31, 1953], No. 34751/53. Class 144 (2). An anti-skid chain ladder 1 which is tensioned at its ends 3 when applied to a wheel is provided intermediate its ends with short chain sections 4 which are hooked to the wheel rim to lie tangentially thereof to provide additional securing means. As shown, the chain ends 3 each comprise short sections tangentially 'hooked to the wheel rim and two sections 4 are provided secured to links 7 at intermediate points of the chain 1. The chains 4 may be cross-connected as shown and may be fitted on either or both sides of the wheel. Specification 525,941 is referred to.
