725,769. Reciprocating pumps for oil cans. KAYE & SONS, Ltd., J., and KAYE, A. W. July 20, 1953, No. 20014/53. Class 102 (1). In a force feed oil can, the cover 3 of the container 1 carries the pump, nozzle 5 and pistol grip 6. The cylinder 16 is reciprocated over a fixed piston by a trigger 8 which is pivoted at 9 to the pistol grip and has a forked end, the fork being formed by pressing out a tongue 10 which actuates a lever 11 connected by a forked end to a rod 13 attached to a bracket 15 on the cylinder 16. The cylinder is raised by depressing the trigger and lowered by the spring 17.
