[Also in Groups VI, XIV and XV] A weighted line for fishing nets or for weighting down tennis nets or curtains comprises a flexible core a, e.g., of glass or natural or synthetic plastic, lead masses b isolated or interconnected by thin flexible lead parts, applied to the core by an extension process and a flexible non-metallic water-resistant material such as rubber occupying the spaces c between the lead masses and preferably forming a flexible sheath d enclosing the masses.
