Abstract
722,193. Endless belt conveyers. CRONE & TAYLOR, Ltd., and TAYLOR, D. G. A. April 14, 1953 (Jan. 31, 1952], No. 2571/52. Class 78 ( 1 ). A conveyer mechanism comprises a base member, an endless or a screw conveyer, a link pivotally connected to the conveyer and to the base member whereby the conveyer can be raised and lowered on the link and the link can be raised and lowered on the base member, and means for holding the link in any position of adjustment relatively to the base member and for holding the conveyer in any position of adjustment relatively to the link. As shown, the frame 11 of an endless belt conveyer 18 is pivotally mounted at 14 on a link 12 hinged at 13 to a chassis 10. The frame is adjustable relatively to the link 12 by a pair of singleacting rams 17, whilst the link may be adjusted relatively to the chassis by a pair of double acting rams 16. The rams may be replaced by screw devices. The conveyer may be supported on a turntable on the chassis.
