721,817. Reciprocating pumps. WAGNER ELECTRIC CORPORATION. Jan. 30, 1953. No. 2712/53. Class 102 (1). [Also in Group XXXIV] An injector pump 52, used in conjunction with a master cylinder system for a motor vehicle or the like, is in communication with the bore of the master cylinder by means of a conduit 51. Braking fluid is forced through conduit 51 and past spring-loaded check-valves 63, into passageways 66, 67 to enable the pistons 58, operated by cam 60, to increase the pressure of the fluid being forced through spring-loaded check valves 69, so that a higher pressure is transmitted through conduit 53 and past valve 47 to assist the braking pressure transmitted to the actuators 74.
