721,162. Gas filter materials. METALS DISINTEGRATING CO., Inc. Jan. 7, 1952. [June 27, 1951]. No. 501/52. Class 8 (2). A fibrous gas filter material e.g., woven cloth or wool felt is impregnated with a substantially non-volatile linear polymerised siloxane. Felt is impregnated with dimethyl siloxane diluted with 25 parts of methyl ethyl ketone which is then evaporating away. Any polysiloxane having a viscosity in excess of 50 centistokes is suitable.
