Class 64(2) [Also in Group XXXIV] A substance of high viscosity at room temperature, for example hotneck grease is melted by a heater element 6 within a hopper 1 and spaced from the hopper walls, the heater having a conical tip 7 extending into the entrance of a pump 5. The element may be heated electrically or by steam or other means. The lower part of the element may . be hollow and filled with lead, bismuth, or other material having a high heat conductivity.
