709,756. Roof ladders. FILDES, C. G. Oct. 13, 1952 [Nov. 19, 1951], No. 27036/51. Class 20 (2) A bracket for securing ladders to a ridge roof comprises two parts 1, 13 both supporting a ladder and pivoted together with the part 1 extending beyond the pivot and connected by a strut 26 to a cross bar 20 adjustable by means of bolts and a series of holes on the part 13 to allow angular adjustment of the parts 1, 13 for roofs of different pitch. The ladders are clamped by their rungs by hooks 4, 7 and 16, 19 on each part 1, 13 respectively. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 684,420.
