Abstract
708,610. Goggles. MAGNUSSON, E. A. B. July 30, 1952, No. 19292/52. Class 97(1) A visor of the type forming a cylinder or funnel open at the front before the wearer's face formed at its rear end to bear in fluid-tight fashion against the wearer's head and to surround his entire face, is formed of two substantially rectangular, flexible and congruent panels 1, 2, hinged together at 4 at there terminal ends so as to fold flat for storage purposes. The panels may be held together by strips of cloth or other flexible material secured to the panels by glueing, riveting and releasable press studs. An eyeshield comprising transparent panels 8 9 hinged to the panels 1 and 2 respectively and hinged together at 10 may be provided to fold with the visor. A head band 5 is connected at its ends to bars 6 so as to be vertically movable thereon to allow the visor to be used as shown with the panels 8, 9 opposite the eyes, or used in an inverted position with these panels opposite the mouth.
